He has some decent stuff with Symphony X, theres some melody there. But overall as with most shredding, its not my cup of tea.

Stevie Ray Vaughn is the best, but John Fogarty and Johnny Ramone are the guitarists I look up to. They're the biggest influences on my playing. Simple, catchy, and cool, but easy solos.
