I can't believe only one person mentioned Kirk Hammett (at least I think he did since I recall him spelling it wrong. Without question he could hand and guitarist in Metal his own ass. And What publication but Mike from Staind at the top? Kirk was the first inductee into the Guitar hall of fame (Guitar the magazine) even though you could vote for any guitarist ever. Metallica is so underrated.

I watched half the idiots on here say the white stripes weren't talented and that means they should have no fame. If talent equates to fame on this board then dream theater and rush should be the best reviewed bands on this board.

well, first off, i'm having trouble understanding this post, but maybe i was up too late.

i was stating my opinion that Metallica is not underrated. they get/have gotten plenty of recognition. I, myself, like Metallica. their first four albums are great.

and for that last statement... i'd have to disagree.

kirk is a good guitarist, but he's no slash or angus young. also the guitarist from jimmy eat world is amazing, i dont know if hes the best but he should be up there.
