The bassist from DT is pretty good too. They all are talented but it just sucks.

Don't forget Son House, he was pretty much Robert Johnson's mentor...




Damn those blues men and their incredibly smooth playing. What still gets me is Robert used an accoustic and his tone is so much warmer than some of today's artists.


Oh and this will probably get me flamed: John Mayor (spelling?)

I flame you... His solos are so boring and lame IMO. The funny thing is he makes it look like he is rocking out real hard while he plays 7 notes from a scale and goes back to the chorus of the song... that pretty much explains most modern soloists. I think mayer has studied jimmy pages stage acting a little too much...
