i would still stay hendrix, but jimmy page really influenced me to write more music when he played guitar with a bow..he's just a really great musician, not to mention john paul jones which inspired me a great deal also.

best guitarist..sheesh....
well it depends on the style of music.... as far as blues guitarists go...i`d say B.B. King very closely followed by the man himself..Jimi Hendrix and Slowhand Clapton... slide guitarists... Johnny Winter and Rory Gallagher and maybe Chris Rea... as you can see, there are so many different types or styles of guitar music..(metal, steel, western..) and each and every style features it`s own master.. who was/is the most influential guitarist would have been a better question... greetz!!! |
