You know, if the concept of music had never been discovered, I think that Keiji and others would still be twanging and plonking away on their guitars because it is natural to mess around with things we don't understand. Remember the first time you ever picked up a guitar? We all had a good bash, and it captured the passion and rebelliousness of our youth. It was emotional. But then someone would say, "no, we don't play like that, we'll damage the guitar. This is how to play a G-Chord". And from there we never looked back.

Now that's sorted out, I think Brian May at his best was every bit as good as Jimmy Page. What do you think?

Actually I will. I could upload it to my soundcloud and then post it in a few days.

I'm saying he's good on the authority that he's a widely acclaimed experimental guitarist, and a veteran of the artform. You are claiming he "sucks" with no real indication other than your extremely ignorant disrespect for experimentation, and blatant close-mindedness.

If you were the chairman of music in the 1920s(a fictional all powerful dictatorial position that I made up for this hypothetical) there would be no blues cause it'd be just 'a bunch of noisey racket with the damn idiots rubbing bottles against their strings. They need to learn how to play.' Because it was exactly the conservative attitude at the time, and it's exactly yours.

With your attitude, music would have never really been 'discovered'.

This guy is quite talented, but my amazement comes more from seeing what he's doing than hearing it.

He sucks. That's my opinion. Get over it. You think he's good? That's fine. My "blatant close-mindedness"? Let me open my mind and listen to his music. I still think it sucks. Let me find some music that you don't like and then talk about how you're close minded because you don't like it. Not everyone likes the same music. But of course the guy who thinks that all music isn't equal and some people have better perspectives than others is going to say such things. Let me guess, your perspective is better than others? And I bet the music you listen to is the music that is better than other music. Such an arrogant elitist.

[Insert smart ass remark here]

I can't really say. There are many who I think are great in their own right.

What about you?

See, this I don't understand. This is the vibe that you've been giving me since I mentioned Haino.

Besides, it's a flaw in itself calling me an elitist for defending a guy who doesn't fit your personal standards. Wouldn't the fact I accept a multitude of musical styles, and you accept only a few make you more of an elitist than me?

That's not why I called you that. I said that because you say things like "all music isn't equal." And "some perspectives are better than others." I accept more than a few musical styles.

I clearly acknowledged what Haino is doing when I said "I see what you're saying. He's going beyond the conventions of music."

I believe the only music that I've come off as not accepting on here, besides Haino, is electronic music. But then I admitted that were some electronic bands that incorporate non-electronic instruments that I do like.
