Well I mean either the person was really standing in the field (or whatever that is) and the fire was added in (my personal guess) or the person was added in. Either way it's photoshopped.

You can tell that both the landscape and the fire thing are a miniature if you look at it closely. The person was either Photoshopped in or might be just another little piece of the model. Which means either one teeny-tiny part of the image was manipulated or none of it was. Of course I'm sure the whole thing was cleaned up and whatnot via Photoshop like all printed photography is, but I figure that's outside of what we're discussing.

I'm not even sure anymore. Though I think it's safe to say that we've overanalyzed it. After some careful research I found that it's done by Storm Thorgerson and a lot of his work is similar in styling to that cover.

No I really never heard of him I'm not into older rock music really.. or progressive rock or psychedelic rock for me friendo. It's just not for me I guess. I understand I'm in the minority when it comes to things like really popular bands. I've never heard a full Beatles song, a full Pink Floyd song, a full Led Zepplin song and yeah. 90% of my stuff is electronic aside from some Black Metal, Shoegaze, Post Rock, and a few other things.
