Well, it depends on what kind of metal fans.
I mainly have a problem with metalheads who get all ****ed up over the shreder of the week... Always going on about how Marty Friedman can play some indian scales which makes him the most versatile musician in the universe, how Paul Gilbert is a better musician than Neil Young because he's more skilled, how Children Of Bodom are better than Metallica because they solo better, how having technical skill is more important than knowing how to use it, etc. And everytime someone makes a slight criticism of one of their idols, they always respond with "you need to hear more of his work". |

heh I knew a mostly non-metalhead taht jsut loved to rave on and on about Paul Gilbert
and good thing I'm an open-minded metalhead that dabbels in nearly every form of music Heh how abotu adding American Idol groupies, though that's not really a specific genre.. |
