Posters, posters, posters...
It was my first day of college and what would be lining the sidewalk greeting me for the next chapter of my life? Nothing but a poster sale of course. Looking at the overpriced and mostly cliche posters, I thought of what posters I lack (I own no good ones) and which ones I did, indeed, approve of at the time. And now I wish that I had more decoration to cover my blank college dorm room, and am now looking for suggestions, or whatever you think is relevant to this basic topic. Soooo...
What posters (music related) do you have up in your room? Which ones do your friends have that you absolutely envy? This may also go for inventive album covers that you wouldn't mind having blown up and plastered to your wall. (Sorry if this topic has already been done, I'm new, so I'm not quite in the loop yet...) If you could provide pictures, or links to pictures of the posters, too, that would be super-terrific. Yes, I did say super-terrific. |

Well, I love this poster and wish I had room for it.
[/URL] I have this up on my wall. I got it at GNR's 2006 show in Halifax. Other things on walls: -A framed record of GNR's "Appetite For Destruction" with original artwork (the rapest robot). - Kirk Hammet, Bret Hart, Zakk Wylde, Curtis Joseph, Mats Sundin pictures. -A Rocky Balboa decorative object -framed newspaper clippings of bands I've seen live (the few) like Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, April Wine, Cheap Trick and Hinder. -Lots more Maple Leafs stuff and hockey memoribialia, etc.

^ I've had these for a few years now, from back when I was a proper Beatles fanboy. I keep meaning to get some new ones that more accurately reflect my musical tastes these days, but I never get round to it. It's not like it's really worth the fuss to me anyway. I've picked up a few more over the years including these...
