When I download music, it's to listen to a new band or album so I can decide if I want to buy it or not. I've bought dozens of cd's I'd have never bought had I not listened to a few tracks first. I'm too broke to buy a cd having only heard about them from reviews and recommendations!

dude i know your cd collection an amost ALL of it is downloaded illegally. including devotchka, and dresden dolls.

I OWN Dresden Dolls and I'm planning on getting the new CD "Yes, Virginia" when it come out about two weeks from now. And I looked for DevotchKa CDs, but there are three, and I dont have enough to buy them right now. And I just bought a Myriads CD. You dont buy any at all anymore.

I say f*ck the artists. They make money other ways. And you know how damn hard it is to find some cds?

downloading isn't killing the indutry.. I mean sure it's probably hurting, a little but the pre-manufactured crap and the indutry, itself is klilling the industry.
Everyone jsut loves to blame downloaidng 'cause it's an easy crutch.

Aw, because of piracy I won't be able to buy a pure gold sharkbar...I'll have to downgrade to a pure silver sharkbar. :(

like the artist dont make enough money anyway lol? music should be free, and just because ones charges for their music doesnt mean its better than the free ones.
