Why don't we have a Contemporary Insturmental Seciton

Hello to everyone in the forum.

What i want to say is that as Contemporary Insturmental Music is so different from classical music in many aspects don't we need to open a section for this kind of music in the main window?

I am a contemporary insturmental music composer and i would like to present my music under this genre in this forum. Don't you agree me?

adidasss 04-02-2006 08:52 AM

sorry, you would be the only one posting there, no point...you can promote your music in the promotions section..

Instrumental music could fall into any category, if not Jazz then likely rock...Or general music.

Just take my advice, change the title to this thread, and it can be our official comptemporary instrumental music thread, am i a smart cookie or what?

TheBig3 04-02-2006 10:18 AM

I wouldn't say cookie...

Hahaha, you've done it again.
Don't you mean victory? "The next victory shall be mine!"

You are your own worst enemy.

no, defeat, as in, you "defeated" me in a sense, and the defeat shall be mine the next time, as in, I shall "defeat" you. You caught a typo in the post above. Normally I am pretty well written.

I think we got off to a bad start...Let us begin again. Hi there, I'm Courtney! lol.

Apologies for being pedantic.
I much prefer to see it as a good start.
Hello Courtney, I'm David. Have fun. :)

Ok, either we can discuss instrumental music, or we should lock this otherwise pointless thread.

Just for the sake of trying to make a decent thread, how about we go with the latter?

Who here likes Booker T & The MGs?

Well the obvious choice would be 'Green Onions'. 17 years old when he wrote that, brilliant.

What about 'Time Is Tight', another superb instrumental from Booker T.
