Even if you purposely put backwards messages in there, it's pretty hard to understand them when you listen to it backwards.

I'm sure at least a couple bands have done it purposely.

if it sounds coherent forwards, it doesn't make sense backwards unless its a palindrome, in which case its the same.

This backwards are things you're looking for.

Well, some words sound like other words when said backwards.

Sometimes mentioned, "Not this" can sound like "siton(satan)" backwards. This is just an example.

I hope this doesnt make me sound stupid, but backward masking can be used in music and speeches to get a messege subconsciously to the audience. Its been tested. I'm not like a conspiracy theorist or anything though.

Backward masking (if im readin this correctly) would mean that the message would only make sense when the record was played backwards. So the message is incoherent when played normally, and thus, useless.

Incoherent, like "if there's a bustle in your hedgerow"?

I don't know... I've tried it before and come out with some lyrics that weren't completely incoherent.
