It's nice to see people being honest rather than just choosing their own country, but I mean Britain has some pioneers of music The Stones, The Beatles, The Kinks, Black Sabbath etc.

Just of the best bands to ever produce music, but the USA aren't far behind.
Has there been anything since the turn of the century thats mattered, or is Britain just better because 50 years ago they had some good bands?

Since 2000 America has been in its own stratosphere.

Oh come on, they're not that bad. They're just a bit bland and boring, no reason for a -1

Isn't Coldplay just a U2 sound-a-like band?

You lot have the 00s, hence why I was being silly with Coldplay. I can't really think of many good British bands from the 00s. I think this decade has been a bit poor for the Brits, 60s 70s 80s and 90s was ours mind.

Especially the 80s, you lot were spawning hair metal whilst we had Joy Division, The Smiths and The Cure.
