I respectfully disagree but a very fair contention nonetheless, and Who Loves the Sun is also delightful.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

For me, the ultimate version of Rock And Roll is Mitch Ryder's version. Even Reed himself said it was better. Sweet Jane and Who Loves The Sun are ok but incredibly overrated, imo.

Venus in Furs is a wonderful song. It sounds like it should be played out in the Arab desert or something, don't it?

All strings to the same note by Lou Reed on this one.

Ostrich tuning I think it's called where every string is tuned to D. Yeh I can see where Sonic Youth got some of their sound from.

VU & Nico is brilliant, but I with they would've skipped Nico. Her voice is terrible, and she nearly ruins all the songs she sings in.

I have to disagree. The three songs she sings are the highlights of the album for me.

I take it then by saying "VU & Nico is brilliant" that you mean the album and not the actual singer? Ha.

I have to respectfully disagree as well though. Even if you don't like her voice, it should be appreciated. Like Janis Joplin, I think she had a beautiful voice that went very well with her music. But I bet hearing her speak all the time in that voice got grating after a while. Despite that being said, her voice is appreciated by the masses. Ya feel me?
