Extremely good band.
Got to say im with those who say whwh is too experimental. Its got some good music but id say its my least faveourite from the 4 main albums. Self Titled is probably my faveourite though, although the bananna album probably had a larger impact on music the other self titled is just achingly beautiful from start to finish. Fair play to whoever posted stephanie says, I used to have a b sides and rareaties cd somewhere but cant find it, anyway thats a great track. |

I lost my interest when John Cale left, or was forced to leave. WLWH and "The Velvet Underground & Nico" are up there in my top favorites, but any other release fails to capture my short attention span.

VU and Nico is probably technically their best but i always think of my favourite as being White Light/White Heat. At times visceral, at times trippy, once the first song kicks in i tend to be hooked. I'm a sucker for that old school guitar fuzz.
