I don`t think Ringo was a crap drummer. I just think people take the piss because he was the ugliest member of the band & wrote f*cking horrible tunes.

Octopus's Garden aint that bad, i like it at least for George Harrisons guitar.

And i actualy like Dont Pass Me By, more for the melody than the lyrics (which are rather silly).

I agree that Yellow Submarine is pretty annoying, but Ringo didnt write it...And he didnt write With A Little Help From My Friends (which is a great song, one of my favorite Beatles songs actualy)...Paul and John wrote both and let Ringo do vocals.

Oh, I see. Well, whether he wrote them or not, I've never really felt any compulsion to plug my ears when one of Ringo's songs came on.

With A Little Help From My Friends and Yellow Submarine are Lennon/McCartney songs, Ringo just does lead vocals on them.

EDIT: I didn't notice boo boo's post. Sorry.

Octopus's Garden is great though. I'm not so sure about Don't Pass Me By...but Don't Let Me Down is awesome.
