I'm sorry but I won't class Kiss as rock. They are glam rock, which to me is basically calling them pop. I would also call Beatles pop. I know it might have been rock back then, but I'm young and living in the present so these bands will always be Pop to me. And yes influence and skill are totally different things-which is why I vote for Elvis.

to me (this might sound funny) kiss were hair metal, and glam rock mixed into one.. they weren;t in it for the fans for the music.. they have said in interviews that they thought being in a rock band would get them chicks, and all the drugs, and they were right.. they all admit to not being that great at what a band is suppose to do.. but like Alice Cooper there a good stage band.. they were fun adn kept up with the times.. (but i personally like alice cooper i there there/he's good.. and a awesome writer)

Obviously not-I heard they turned more Pop later into their career, and that's probably what I've heard. With Kiss you've either got the people who like them or the people who dislike them. I dislike them. And Gene Simmons is an idiot judging by his appearance on Rock School. Those kids didn't even need his help.

i don't think its so much you either like them or dislike them.. and more so its either you like 70's kiss, or 80's kiss.. because that band changed with the times.. and or didn't change and stayed the sound (when they took of the make up they were hated.. hahaha) either way i like old kiss songs from the 70's but when the 80's came around i think they lost what they never really had much of.. talent.. haha

They only really did 2 pop albums (Dynasty & Unmasked) And Gene Simmons is one of the biggest pricks in the world

Son House, he played a huge role on Robert Johnson's playing, and by doing so he has played a huge role in all blues musicians.
