No, honestly, Tidal is the only thing I've ever listened to by Fiona and thats just because of "Criminal". I get sick of her voice after a while so I haven't really bothered with her other stuff but if you say its worth checking out, I'll download it.

Fair enough. I can't compare it to Tidal, but it's the easy winner against Ex Mach.

I have Machine, Pawn and Tidal. I dunno though.. I just love her sexy ass voice, so I can't input much on the rest of the music. I hardly pay attention to it.

Her voice is really what drew me to her in the first place.

Fiona Apple does the angry woman thing far more adeptly than that annoying Lily Allen. When the Pawn is decent but I agree that Extraordinary Machine is rather meh... it wasn't particularly bad but it just wasn't really engaging in any way.

They are completely different genres. Your argument is null.

Really? Because two artists 'belong' to different arbitrarily defined musical genres, I can't compare them according to a fairly unrelated criterion?

Fiona Apple would be like a mix Between Regina Spektor and Martha Wainwright in my head, though that might just be me!

I actually thoroughly enjoy listening to Extraordinary Machine, there are some greats songs on it. That said, I haven't heard her other albums, so if Machine seems bland in comparison, I should take the time to track them down...

I LOVE her! I love her voice and she is a great performer. She puts so much emotion in her songs and she is a great songwriter.

I love this album

Thoughts and Opinions on Fiona Apple

"The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than the Driver of the Screw and Whipping Cords Will Serve You More Than Ropes Will Ever Do"

Been listening to the above Album, have always found her interesting, shes a great song writer. This to be honest was a great come back album in 2012, maybe one of the best for 2012. Will be listening to this again.

What are your general thoughts and opinions on Fiona Apple ?
