Alright, I think this thread is a pretty cool idea so here I go:

Black Eyes "Cough"

Where most of their DC peers (like !!!) seem to be trying to revive new wave, or, if you prefer, "dance punk," Black Eyes bring back No Wave - screeching horns layered upon screeching guitars on top of screeching half-spoken half-screamed vocals, with the occasional steady bass line to keep it from decaying completely into madness. And sometimes there are even melodies. What more could you want?

I think my fvaorite album this week would have to be 1977 from Ash. I'm pretty sure it's the bands first album and it really rocks.
It's all I've been listening to for the past two days now.
I like it because there's a smoothe transition between the tracks. Like the moment say track 2 is over you don't even notice the change to track 3.

My favorite songs would have to be
2. Goldfinger
3. Girl From Mars
6. Kung Fu
and tracks 8 -12.

There isn't anything too special about the band. And I will admit their Meltdown album is better but this album 1977, is really really amazing.
I highly recommend this album if you like emo because it well falls under the category of emo.
And that's about it.

Peace
