Bad albums tend to disappear from my collection quickly, so "the worst" albums are always something I recently bought. I try to bat with a high average when making purchases, but sometimes I do get caught with a stinker. It's usually from the result of a spontaneous impulse buy.

I don't have any Elton John cds so I thought this would be a good one to have, since he's backed by an orchestra, had a good selection of songs, and I got it dirt cheap. The problem is Elton Johns' vocals...they're horrible. To my surprise, at this point in his career his vocal chords were completely shredded and as a result, Elton John can't sing to save his life on this record.

I don't think I can get any money re-selling this, so off it goes into the box in the back of the closet.
