That's awesome.

Alas I'm only going to see Alice Cooper. Concerts are few and far between here.

I'd kill to see these bands, but CYHSY were pretty unimpressive live.

February 21: Les Savy Fav, Thunderbirds Are Now!, The Hold Steady
March 19: Belle & Sebastian, The New Pornographers

cardboard adolescent 02-02-2006 08:17 PM

CYHSY are playing the day after Mogwai so I suppose if I'm forced to pick I'll go with Mogwai.

punkrockrainbow 02-03-2006 08:18 AM

Seether and Shinedown are playing on the 23rd, I'm going with my friend Oreo.

Muzak 02-05-2006 04:35 PM

I was just at a concert last night. It was Decapitated, Raging Speedhorn, Soilent Green, Hypocrisy, and Nile. It was very good and I got a cool Hypocrisy T-shirt.

i'm going to that on the 22nd I think. Whenever it is at Nations.

I'm going to a couple of local shows, but mostly i'll be spending time playing with my own new band. preparing for some concerts in April.

dojo 02-07-2006 08:16 AM

I don't have anything set right now, but I should start studying some artists schedule ... I usually find out about a show after it's too late getting tickets or seeing it :(

Imonlydancing 02-17-2006 03:33 AM

facethefest tomorrow :]
there's a thread on it in the hardcore/emo section.

TrampInaTux 02-17-2006 04:18 AM

I'm hoping I'm going to see Kanye West, he's coming over to Birmingham soon. I was watching his performance on the Brit Awards and it had to be the highlight of the night. Which isn't saying much, but y'know it was still good...

ladyluckrules 02-17-2006 06:55 AM

Festival- Primal Scream, The Prodigy, Placebo, The Editors, Dirty Pretty Things, The Kooks, The Rakes.
It's an alright line up so far, mainly going for the atmosphere and hanging with friends but there are a lot more bands to be confirmed.

[MERIT] 02-17-2006 07:02 AM

powerman 5000

shandapanda 02-18-2006 04:39 PM

man, i hope kanye comes to sweden, but it'll prolly be an overpriced ticket, sold out in like a few days....man, if only.....*daydreams*
the whole festival thing seems so cool..i wonder what they're like

And to shandapanda, i love festivals, there's a great atmosphere and you get lots of free stuff.
Last one I went to I found a woman in a rap-off with an 8 year old about morrisons.

Vai Is God 02-18-2006 06:30 PM

I'm hoping Joe Satriani comes to Atlanta on his Super Colossal tour. Eric Johnson is opening, should be a sweet show.

EDGE 02-18-2006 06:42 PM

Coldplay and Van Morrison, I'm sure of.
there are plenty of bands coming to boston pretty soon.
:)

I would burn the venue down
Hopefully I'll be seeing Circa Survive in about a month.
If all goes to plan
