I might go see Billy Idol at RibFest just to catch a glimpse of Steve Stevens. The only problem (besides them being old and the music being bleh) is that RibFest sucks. I went there quite a few years ago to see Blue Oyster Cult with a few friends, and it turned into the biggest **** show cluster **** I've ever put myself through. We had to park about 3 miles away, then after paying for parking and having to drag my one extremely drunk friend all the way to the front gates, they told us they were filled up to capacity and we couldn't get in. I was done with RibFest forever. FORE EVERRRR!

Still, I might see if they've changed their logistics and attitudes. Steve's kinda worth it. For me anyway.
That's the one:

Damn, though. Would have loved to hear Frame By Frame, Pictures Of A City, Discipline and Larks Tongues In Aspic Pt. 1.
But whatevs, not gonna complain.

I was referring to stuff they played yesterday but didn't play on saturday when I was there.
Agree though, those would be amazing, but they don't seem to play them at all with the current line-up afaik.

I miss him but I also couldn't imagine him fitting into their current retro sound.

My wife got us tickets to a really cool star wars orchestra in a few months here in Japan.
They play the movie on a big screen in the background but all of the music is instead played live by the orchestra.
it sounds really fun and I am very excited.
( I have not made enough posts to post links to it yet sorry ^_^ )
