I saw both Keith Urban and Aerosmith as part of the NCAA March Madness Music Festival earlier this month.

Next will be a road trip for U2 at the Rose Bowl on 5/21, followed by a solo show from Ann Wison (of Heart on 5/23), then Melissa Etheridge (5/25), then Living Colour on 5/26. A busy and rockin' time for sure that week! ...

The one that just came out? Great album. I like the slight change in sound but not enough to become something totally not Pile. I'm a sucker for that kind of sound though. I eat that sh*t up. Dripping is still their best output but their entire discog is solid.

I hate you and am glad you enjoyed it.

I'm supposed to be leaving at the beginning of July. This may be a great California goodbye gift to myself.

We better see each other well before that to make plans.

So Jawbreaker are back together and playing Riot Fest.

For $300.

I really hope they can hold it together and do a genuine tour.

Peter Brötzmann, Toshinori Kondo & Toyozumi Sabu in September.
I've seen Brötzmann a couple of times, but I never even hoped to see those japanese jazz legends live.
