I went to see Seth Troxler play a set in the Glasgow School of Art University two weekends ago, it was an amazing night out. The venue only held 800 people and only about 150-200 could fit in the room Seth Troxler played. I went dressed as Gene Simmons because it was Halloween, taking drugs on Halloween is always much more fun . I've got a few nights coming up in the next few weeks also, I'm travelling down to Manchester for The Warehouse Project to see The Chemical Brothers on the 5th December, it will be a good night! Also planning on seeing Sven Väth play in The Arches, Glasgow for Pressure but I'm not sure if I'll have the funds coming up to Christmas and all!

Very much excited for this tomorrow. Slow, spacey doom from The Wounded Kings, brilliant post-metal/atmospheric doom from Sunwolf, Sunn O)))-like doom from Voe, grim, ugly stuff from Atragon, loud, psychedelic, droning, improv jam-band Waheela and an instrumental folk/looped vocal harmony artist turned dark, moody and synth-heavy doing her comeback gig after a couple of years in obscurity. Should be interesting, should be off the scale atmospherically, and plenty of beers should be consumed. |
