Gonna try and make it to see Spraynard in Oakland this Thursday. I've missed so many great shows this year I'll be pretty bummed if I can't make this one. Especially since who knows how long they're actually gonna stay together for.

tour 3 killer bands so ehhh why not
I was gonna go see them until Death Grips decided to disband, so honestly there's no point anymore. I'll settle for St. Vincent and the Black Keys in October.

Going to see "Guitar Shorty" in three weeks at a favorite small venue. A very underrated electric blues guitarist and a great showman. He's played with some of the biggest names in blues and R&B. His playing has influenced both Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix (who was his brother in law and used to attend Shorty's shows when he played in the Seattle area.) Should be a great show!

Summer Slaughter Tour the day after tomorrow.

Dying Fetus, The Faceless, Thy Art Is Murder, Goatwhore, Origin, Decrepit Birth, Within the Ruins, Fallujah
I've been going to my buddies house, listening to some Fetus for the past few days, just to see what I have in store for me. This is not my usual listening material, and I'm not a big fan of the 'Blast Beat'. Not sure if my delicate ears will be able to take it all in, but at least my friend lives 3 blocks away, so I can take a breather every now and then. Should be fun though. I'll be taking the train to within a couple blocks of the venue, so I don't have to drive anywhere. I need to be careful though since I still have some injuries from the head on collision.

I see them soon, too. Second time, as I saw them in 2006 when I was 16 and wasn't too impressed but I wasn't as big a fan then as I became. Quite excited!

Tomorrow night is THE CHILLS. **** yeah.
