Bloodstock in just over 3 weeks time. Just a couple of delights:

Kreator
Coroner
Triptykon
Forbidden
Motorhead
Morbid Angel
Exodus
Napalm Death
Angel Witch
Devin Townsend Project (not a big fan but a live show may change my attitude)

Of the main bands on Saturday night I have only heard one band's album. Not good. Anyone suggest a highlight of the night. There are supposed to be another few bands added to the line ups over the next few weeks.

Bloodstock Heavy Metal festivals - UK's largest Independent Heavy Metal Festivals

Let's hope it doesn't rain for the 3 days but England even in August doesn't guarantee decent weather.

The Appleseed Cast - August 29th
Polar Bear Club w/ Fireworks, Balance and Composure, and Make Do & Mend - September 9th

Cannot wait for the second one. That lineup was made for me, it literally mirrors my Last.fm last 3 months charts

That's quite the lineup, I'm pretty jealous, especially for Devin Townsend as I'm assuming most of the material will be from Deconstruction (2011) which is probably my favorite album of the year. Even if you're not a fan of the music, he is a true showman and will always endeavor to put on a memorable performance.

It's been ages since I went to a show, but I just got tickets to see Death Cab at Red Rocks. Not the biggest fan, but hey, it's Red Rocks

I thought Devin Townsend was awesome live. DTP songs to me seem a bit theatrical and sometimes whimsical and lend themselves better to live performance. You should enjoy it!
