I'm supposed to go see a friend's band, Lisa Savidge next Thursday. Its their CD release. But, I'm honestly more excited about the band playing with them, Dry River Yacht Club. I'm not sure if I'll go or not. Its a school night.
I don't expect anyone here will have heard of them... so, if you want to check em out Lisa Savidge: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCGU1AwMlCU DRYC: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH3fdXpvIWM The song gets more intense near the end. They are completely fascinating and the lead singer is totally mesmerizing on stage! I hope its OK to post this here since they aren't super famous (is this thread only for famous shows?)

Oh! The Residents are coming to town in March. I've never really gotten into them but should I check them out? Tickets are still available and only 20 bucks.

There seems to be a drought of shows I have any interest in, in the city anytime soon. Although, I might check out The Hood Internet show at a club next Thursday. They mashup a lot of popular current pop/hip-hop songs with Indie and 80's pop hits, might be kind of fun. It's also primarily an 80's themed dance club so that pretty cool.
Might make the trip in the summer to see Sleigh Bells, CSS, and Neon Indian as well. As much as I like Sleigh Bells though, most live vids I've seen have theme have been pretty awful. |

Conditions are a hair better then the rest. But they're all pretty much the same. EDIT: Actually, they're all a little bit bearable than BVB. |
