But it truly didn't have the immediacy of Turn on The Bright Lights or Antics. It was a different sort of beast, I think.

Still would be a great band to catch live... I'd go if it were on my campus for only $20!
So I did end up going. School of Seven Bells opened, which was cool, but I'm not sure how good dream pop/noise pop can be in concert. I think the audience was nodding off.

Interpol were alright. I've never been a big fan of their music but I got kinda bored halfway through and went to sit in the bleachers for the remainder of the show. They played Narc though and that's all that mattered to me.

And The Pains of Being Pure At Heart are great live, I think you will definitely enjoy their live show, and I really want to see The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, they came to my hometown over winter break and I couldn't get down to see them, lucky you get a chance to!
Thanks man. I think The World Is... play around here a lot, which is nice. We don't get a lot of concerts but it could be worse.

I was supposed to go see Yo La Tengo last week but the weather made a turn for the worse and I got snowed in. Balls. I really wanted to see them. Maybe it's for the best...something tells me they are an album band and not a live one. They do have quite a few droney songs that might not translate well live.

I do have Glitch Mob coming up next month, though! I'm pumped.
