I'd bust my sack to see some of those talents over here, you arsehole sidewinder

Any how, probably going to the Black Seeds September 11. Metallica too if some tickets show up, it would be silly not to go see them if I had the chance.

It's Dearhunter as in Deerhunter. Sorry, I spelled it wrong.

I guess I'm pretty lucky here in ol' Seattle. But one can only go to so many shows without burning out and breaking the bank. Especially considering I don't have many close friends in town to attend shows with me.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

There are others in between those two that I'm considering seeing. Such as Melvins who are playing a much smaller venue than normal (benefit show), The Black Keys, Minus the Bear (also a much smaller venue than usual, otherwise I wouldn't bother), Superchunk, Prefuse 73 (opening for someone else, unfortunately), Man Man, Tera Melos, Foals, Dearhunter w/ Casino Versus Japan, and I guess that's about it. All under consideration, no way I'd make it to them all though.
Nice!

I'm jealous that you coast folk get a chance to see Superchunk--they seem to be avoiding the middle of the country. Foals is a band I've heard a few times on Pandora and enjoyed--are they worth further investigating?

I have tickets for Swans, Belle & Sebastian, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mudhoney, and The Ex.

I desire to go to many others, can't remember who at the moment though.

i am traveling from northern California to Chicago which is somewhere around 2000 miles to see Swans in October....because those stupid east coast elitist would not schedule west coast shows and would rather head over to Europe!

not that i care going to Chicago will be great and i'll be seeing some old friends

are you going to the ATP Nightmare Before Christmass show?
