Going to see Black Rebel Motorcycle Club in a few weeks. I'm not that into 'em, but the girlfriend likes 'em.

Purple Lagoon Stinkfoot Lonely Little Girl City of Tiny Lights Daddy Daddy Daddy What Kind of Girl...? Big Swifty Keep It Greasey Mystery Roach Advance Romance Blessed Relief Inca Roads The Blue Light Pick Me I'm Clean The Little House I Used to Live In / Latex Solar Beef Apostrophe Cosmik Debris Muffin Man Encore: Yellow Snow Peaches En Regalla I'm the Slime pretty amazing show but not 100% perfect. a few technical issues delayed the start by a few minutes. there were also issues with the keyboard solo, either the performer forgot his wah pedal on and in the treble position, or the soundman was asleep at the wheel. it was the kind of treble with far too much mid that just hurt to hear. the bass solo during Apostrophe was relatively weak compared to the rest of the set as well, a couple of bum notes and then the guy starts to almost take off in a more melodic direction - which actually got crowd reaction - then went back to just playing lots of notes really fast Daddy, Daddy, Daddy was the only tune that felt out of place in the set also, not really sure why it was there. also not sure why there was a hollowbody electric on stage too, no one ever picked it up. personally i was really hoping for City of Tiny Lights and they delivered. Inca Roads was epic, The Little House I Used to Live In was huge as well. overall it was a phenomenal show, anyone who liked Frank's music should definitely check out Dweezil and his crew if they have the chance. |

Wish I was going to be seeing something soon, but alas, it is but a pipe dream...
