I'm going to Harmony Festival this weekend. I'm really looking forward to The Expendables and Slightly Stoopid... and I'm still in complete disbelief that I'll be seeing Steel Pulse. Should be a rather fantastic event.

Thursday I'm going to Lynyrd Skynyrd with .38 Special and Bret Michaels. Skynyrd w/ .38 Special is always a good concert. Not a huge fan of Bret Michaels, but I sort of respect him for staying with the tour despite his recent health issues.

And I'm going to KISS in September. I told a friend that I might go with her and she just went ahead and bought the tickets so I'm sorta of stuck going. Although it's KISS, it certainly can't be a boring concert.

I hope Amanda Palmer stops by in Michigan this fall.

And I supposed to be at Otep tonight, but I chose to spend that money on baseball game on Friday instead.

Well, Alexisonfire kicked ass on Friday night. Highlight of the night: Pulmonary Archery... I was so happy to hear a song from their debut album. I was also happy to finally see my favorite homeland band live.

I used to be a big Alexisonfire fan, I think I would go to a concert if they came here and played only their older stuff. And Crisis. Just curious, what did you think of their new album? I wasn't a fan.

I liked their new album better than Crisis. Old Crows, Young Cardinals, No Rest, Born And Raised, Emerald Street, and The Northern are all big winners in my opinion. It did have one huge stinker though: Accept Crime.

You should definitely see them though. They only played one song off their debut that night but they played a handful of songs off Watch Out! (Get Fighted WHAT?). The album they played most from was Crisis.

But I do agree, their older stuff > their newer stuff. The debut album is easily one of my top 10 favorite albums ever.
