On the topic of friends: I'm going with my brother and three of my friends to Alexisonfire. I'm sure glad I have my friends with me because I've got "Pit" tickets and I have no idea how that's gonna turn out... and I've never been to a show where moshing has taken place before.

Moshing is nucking futs.

Anyway, I just got back from 30 Seconds to Mars (aka the Jared Leto show) and Mute Math. 30 Seconds was surprisingly good, as Jared got really intimate with the crowd and even invited about 50 people up on stage for the finale to sing "Kings and Queens" with him. Mute Math, however, really deserved their 20 minutes of fame for an excellent performance.

Metallica- oct 23

wasn't going to bother as I've seen them twice previously and the venue they're playing has **** accoustics, but it's Metallica y'know and me thinks it will be their last time out in Oz.

Also going to see Birds Of Tokyo and Karnivool in the not to distant future, home town shows so should be quite rawkus.

Ugh! Toronto really isn't even that far from here! Oh well, i am sure they're bound for a long career so I will have to catch them on their next time 'round these parts...

Tool is playing in Louisiana soon... New Orleans. Just a 45 minute or hour drive from my place but I can't justify the ticket price and gas money and all... I'm trying to save because I'm getting a new place, but it kills me not to see them again. Plus, I'll be in school at the time.
