In addition to my eagerly anticipated shows from earlier (Camera Obscura, ISIS/Jakob, Faith No More, Meshuggah, Pixies, Fat Freddy's, Black Seeds / Salmonella Dub / Pluto / Katchafire / Midnight Youth etc), I also have these coming up: * Echo and the Bunnymen + Black Lips * Yo La Tengo * Clutch * Eagles of Death Metal (announced to be coming with FNM) * Pavement * Groove Armada I've never listened to the Cribs but apparently they're coming too. I might go to the BDO if I can get time off work and have money by then... the Decemberists, Groove Armada, Mars Volta, Devendra Banhart and Mastodon will be there, amongst others.

Live music is like 10 times better for some bands. Normally the ones who have been doing it for years and years. Newer bands though, they can suck really bad. It's not super rare to find a band who can play their stuff well live, but it's rare to find one who can play it better.
