Sweet, I love the IRS. I got tickets to go see Echo & the Bunnymen next week at Black Cat. But, apparently a band has to pay a tax if they leave the country, play shows, and come back in less than 30 days. So they're cancelling the tour. Yet another fantastic thing about the US.
Thanks, *******s. |

Dinosaur Jr. last night! My ears are still ringing. I saw on the setlist they were going to do my favorite song, The Lung, but switched it last minute for Just Like Heaven. Can't complain though really really great song for a really great cover. At the end of Forget the Swan I was trying to get a picture of J's pedal board (because I'm a geek like that) and Lou kept yelling at me "Forget the Swan! Forget it! See with the eye!". Great show. Setlist went something like:
Thumb The Leper Imagination Blind Get Me Pieces Crumble Little Fury Things Forget the Swan Over It The Wagon Feel The Pain Freak Scene I Don't Wanna Go There Encore: Just Like Heaven Mountain Man |

Yeah, so I saw WHY? last night and despite a 25 minute soundcheck in the middle of the show and a very short set.. and almost breaking down on the way there, I had a great time. Said what's up to Yoni and after that I died.
