I'm too lazy to look
but it is a lot |
Not many for me:
Lostprophets (until they release their next one in the next month or so, which I don't intend buying) Gomez Hot Hot Heat The Music NERD Gorillaz Yes, I know all bar 1 have only 2 albums. Need Incubus's Fungus Amongus (sp?) and A's How Ace Are Buildings to finish them two off. |
Oh man. Hahahaha. There are too many to list and half of the list would be of bands with two or three CD's. Just know that anything from the 60s or 70s is in my house. Just one whole wall has CDs covering the whole area and that's about half the collection my Dad and I have been working on.

oh and.....
bush tool (again) bill talent (not by choice) the darkness thrice |
Metallica
Bon Jovi White Stripes Strokes Mars Volta Crash Ark Viola HIM Nirvana Sonic Youth Placebo Broken Social Scene Hives Mew Franz Ferdinand Slipknot Donnas Sahara Hotnights These came to my mind. There might be some others too but I'm too lazy to look at my collection. I didn't count bands that have only released one record. |
King Crimson
Pink Floyd Radiohead Not their live work, just their studio work. |
I just recently got all of Mindless Self Indulgence's albums. I will probably never listen to them simply because they're not really my thing, but...I have them..
Also... Thursday Every Time I Die Folly (not hard....only one album I'm aware of so far....Another is due out soon) Haste the Day Trivium |
This should be good
The Smiths Pink Floyd Love and Rockets Tool Incubus Hoobastank Red Hot Chili Peppers Mars Volta Metallica Nirvana The Foo Fighters Mariah Carey N Sync The Backstreet Boys Tool Dream Theater Mindless Self Indulgence Bo Doubt Bush Cursive Nada Surf Billie Holiday DMX Eminem Nas Jay - Z Good Charlotte Rage Against the Machine Beastie Boys The Beatles Linkin Park P.O.D. Garbage Le Tigre Otep System of a Down R. Kelly Christina Aguilera Sublime and that's all I can think of. I probably have more. Peace |
not including bands that only have 1-3 cd's (because there is a lot of them)
Bowie Bjork Nine Inch Nails Radiohead Powderfinger Marilyn Manson Alice In Chains White Stripes Pearl Jam Nearly there: Tori Amos Tom Waits Supergrass There are bound to be others, but they're so far away |
Linkin Park
System of a Down The Offspring AFI...I think Yep...That's it...Lol I'm pathetic:) P.S... If anyone says Megadeth or the Beatles or something I will congragulate them in so many ways... |

Close to 300 60's R&B/Northern and rare soul Cd's and counting.
Obviously these are by various artists, but I can't differentiate between any of them...each and every track is a precious item in it's own right, each one a gem. Collecting them, finding out trivia about the artist and the record label they were originally released on, is both a passion and an obsession...a labour of love. |

Not including the artists that only have one album(thats not really a feat) i would have to say
Modest Mouse Red Hot Chili Peppers The White Stripes Beck The Decemberists Jamiroquai(for some odd reason) |
I know this belongs on a sperarate thread, but I don't think it will take off too well, who would you say has the most albums? I would have to say Depeche mode.
|
Well, I don't think I own ALL of any band I really enjoy, simply because later in their careers, they went in directions I didn't really care for.
But, here are the ones I own 95% or better: Areosmith KISS Ted Nugent Led Zeppelin Iron Maiden Springsteen Stevie Ray Vaughan Cheap Trick Queen Journey The Cars John Mellencamp Mary Chapin Carpenter Randy Travis There are a lot more I own, with 5 or less, but the list is too lengthy to write. |

Johnny Cash has somewhere over the 150 mark. I think Zappa is 88 or something? I can't remember the exact amount of Zappa albums, that's including compilaitions though.
|
I think Zappa has around 70 studio albums. Elvis recorded around the same amount during his lifetime, but after his death more than 100 live albums and what not have popped up.
|
Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Afi, and err, I don't know, I usually don't own more than one or two cds per artist.
|
Metallica... :D
Avenged Sevenfold Thats it...Nearly completed Pantera...Will when I get some more money...w00p |
I 'have only one Avenged Sevenfold album, I couldn't find any others. =(
|
The first one wasnt brilliant...Waken the Fallen is good...and City of Evil is ok...Overall they are an ok band, good live...Just not brilliant

It would be pointless to get their first few CDs when they are just covers of American tunes. I am sure I have all the Gorillaz CDs, I think I am missing one of their dub CDs. I have three I think their is four. |
