Not a lot of bands I listen to are extremely obscure. Looking down through my playlist I am Kloot, Idiot Pilot, and krezip seem to be the least known. (To me anyway)
Idiot Pilot is a bit overrated around here. They're good, but the kids at my school place them a bit too high.

and I've heard Depswa and Hot Snakes.

as for me: Prayer for Cleansing, The Sun Still Rises, Scarlet Adorns The Snow, The Aristocrat

For my part I was thinking that I was the only one on earth to know Plain White T's but I'm not.

But now I'm listening to 12 Summers Old, 15 Minutes Late, Greeley Estates, Alll that Remains, Panic! At the Disco... and you what you are listening at that you think that no one else knows?
if you think that panic! at the disco, and greenley estates are bands that no one knows about then you seriously need to get out more.

Hmm... maybe I'm going out more often that you can think. Maybe I didn't explain my self well on this thread. In my case here where I live Panic! and Greenley Estates aren't know very much. I'm pretty sure that there are some bands that a small amount of people knows near when you live and here there are alot of people who knows that band. Just an opinion don't take that bad.

i see. i only made that statement because there are a lot of people talking about them on this forum alone. not to mention their MTV converage. but yes, what you said about a band being popular somewhere, and not well known somewhere else is probably very true.
