Holy **** how could my friends not like them. DUDE they ****ing rock. The only reason my friends don't like them is beacuase at some points black francis isnt the best singer. My friend richard likes Journey more :P :P :D

Then your friends must be ignorant and mentally unbalanced! Uh i listen to some extreme metal/grindcore that most of my friends wouldn't like, i get a few s******s when i say i really like Blink 182 as well.

I like Mindless Self Indulgence and I thought they were the greatest thing ever until I discovered Frank Zappa and realized what they were doing was not entirely new.

I still like them though, and they seem like the sort of band you guys would really dislike.

Some people I know who like similar (or, in some cases, much worse) music claim to dislike Alexisonfire and I have a sneaking suspicion that it's just because they've become so popular here.

Similar thing with The Trews - I've had a bunch of people tell me "THEY SUCK" and I just don't understand it. They play fun rock music, it's cool if you don't like it, but to hate them? Come on.

I won't start hating on a band just 'cause they achieve some level of success.

I only have Turtle Nipple and the Toxic Shock, don't really like anything before that. The vocals sound retarded, but thats the reason I like them. Its almost like screamo with a sense of humor with a little bit of psycedelic stuff on the side.

Absolutely one of the worst bands I've ever seen live. What a waste of time.

Yeah they were pretty cool guys. We chatted with them for a bit after the show. But the performance was horid, it was pretty funny though.

People have warmed up to the prog bands over here. But unfortantely that's not the case in the real world.

People sometimes laugh at me when I say I love Genesis. :(

Well for my brothers 19th birthday party I was the DJ, I brought every damn CD I had, asked his friends what kinda music they liked, they were indie kids, so I cranked up some Ok Computer and Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.

My 11 year old brother started talking crap, saying it sucks and telling me to turn it off.

To which I screamed out loud "YOU LIKE NICKELBACK AND SOUJA BOY, F*CK YOU!"

Little kids have the worst taste in music.
