Only band that comes to mind would be The Jesus Lizard, my friends think of it as music for the ignorant and mentally unblanced.

Then your friends must be ignorant and mentally unbalanced! Uh i listen to some extreme metal/grindcore that most of my friends wouldn't like, i get a few s******s when i say i really like Blink 182 as well.
