Nirvana are fantastic I can't see why people hate them. Limp Bizkit I can see why because they are very cheesy, and I can also see a HUGE problem with liking the Black Eyed Peas. I just think they are full of energy. They aren't fantastic musicians or whatever, but I still think they are fun and generally good to listen to.

That's only mild scenitis... notice the barely shaggy undyed hair, belt still in the correct position, very little arm jewelry, no nail polish, no makeup.
