nope..sorry. ha.
these are subject to change, but for now this is my opinion best: (tie) geoff rickly of thursday and anthony green (saosin and circa survive). these are based on poeticness and their overall flow and sound. worst: tom delonge and mark hoppus (blink 182)

Bump.
3 pages? Is that it? I love discussing lyrics/people who have those ways with words. Well.. Lennon/Mccartney, Morrissey, Ian Curtis, Alex Turner, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Kurt Cobain. And I can't believe no one has mentioned this guy - Nick Cave. I'm not really a fan of his, and haven't heard much of his stuff. (Just the 1 album) But the man seems like an absolute brilliant story teller. |

When it comes to story tellers, Chris Clavin makes me all ears. There aren't a lot of artists that can do that for me. I have always been fond of Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Beck's for their colourful imagery.

Simply because of American Pie, I'm going to say Don McLean. That song IS culture. I also really enjoy listening to Jim Morrison.
