I like Steven Malkmus, even though he rarely, if ever, makes sense.

Bored with the usual crap reactionary posts, Ill say:

John McCrea write some of the better more interesting lyrics today. With lines like "And the muscular cyborg german dudes, dance with sexy french candians, while the overweight americans wear their patriotic jumpsuits"

"We are building a religion
We are making a brand
We're the only ones to turn to
When your castles turn to sand

Take a bite of this apple
Mr. corporate invents
Take a walk through the jungle
Of cardboard shanties and tents

Some people drink Pepsi
Some people drink Coke
The wacky morning DJ
Says democracy's a joke"

The Worst? I don't know, these days it's river cuomo. Holy **** was this new album poorly written. And Darion &^%*&^kin or whatever his name is, he can write some horrid ****, but Rivers jsut dominated the broken pen contest this time around.

Can't argue with Lennon as one of the best.
I also happen to be quite fond of Thom Yorke's writing, too.

As for the worst - Too many to mention in one post. Although, for some reason, one that has always stuck with me as one of the worst lines ever was by Dr. Dre, "Never let me slip, 'cause if I slip, then I'm slippin'." (Ain't Nothin' But a G Thang"… Classic.

Yes hobojesus, it was very bad - So bad that it has stuck with me since 1991.

By the way, great freakin' avatar. Just curious… If I accept Satan, do I get a free XBox360 instead?
