"At The First Fall of Snow" , among others - Hank Williams
"Vincent (Starry Starry Night) - Don McLean
"Last Kiss" - Wayne Cochran
"He Was My Brother" - Simon & Garfunkel
"I Know It's Over" - The Smiths
"Mama Said" - Metallica
"A Change Is Gonna Come" - Sam Cooke
"Otherside" - Rancid (about Lars' brother who passed away)

Also, I'm going to agree with others and mention Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt". Yes, he's written many a sad song on his own ("Give My Love To Rose", "I Hung My Head", etc.) but I remember watching that video after June and Johnny had passed and just bawling in my room. So raw and haunting.
