honestly though I believe "Embrace" by Low is unbeatable to my ears in terms of being the saddest, most moving thing ever recorded. |

cool thread, I love sad music. I know what u mean when u say that christmas music can be sad for u. It's crazy how a song can really bring you back to when u first heard it.
My favs from my DOWN playlist: Al Green - "For the good times", "mend a broken heart"; Andre Nickatina - "blood in my hair", "rose"; Beck - "Girl of my Dreams", "everybody's gotta learn"; Bill Withers - "ain't no sunshine"; Wilco & Billy Bragg - "One by one"; Bob Dylan - "Don't think twice", "Girl from the north county (w/ J Cash); Bob Marley - "my cup" "redemption song"; Clash - "straight to hell"; Daniel Johnston - "Some things", "true love"
