apparently you haven't heard " In An Octopus's Garden ". Absolute garbage.
I prefer the Rolling Stones anyday as they are a straight ahead rock and roll band, whereas the Beatles relied on studio tricks

If one single thing could be attributed to the breakup of the Beatles.
It was quarrels between Paul and, all the other Beatles.

John was already planning on leaving because he was sick of Pauls insistence that everything be absolutely perfect and he was tired of Paul acting like the "leader" of the band.

That's a funny thing for the reason that the bass players are usually known as the last musicians to "lead" a band!!!

Although there are very few exceptions like Geddy Lee (Rush) and Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead), the bass player's importance/job to the band is usually to "fill in the hole" with the other musicians, ya know?

Who said that "he ruined The Beatles?"

If you're talkin' 'bout my reply, I said "atleast he didn't ruin The Beatles", so who said THAT?

TrampInaTux 01-14-2006 05:49 AM

No contest-Lennon easily. McCartney is boring and isn't a patch on the songwriting abilities of Lennon. Also, why isn't this thread a poll? Wouldn't that have been much easier...

Sabgoat 01-14-2006 10:05 AM

yea it would have been easier and better if it were a poll.. but i have no idea how do that so it is what it is.... :)
