I made an (anti) war mix earlier this year...
$300,000,000,000.00 and Counting 1. Michael Stearns - From the Cradle (taken from this (http://www.firethistime.org/) album which is really interesting. Album is about 1st Gulf War but this song is general enough to use for this mix too). 2 Bright Eyes - Land Locked Blues 3 Damien Rice And Christy Moore - Lonely Soldier 4 Bloc Party - Price Of Gas 5 Fischerspooner - We Need a War 6 Radiohead - 2+2=5 7 Xiu Xiu - Support Our Troops (Black Angels OH) 8 ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - Worlds Apart 9 Jay Farrar - Doesn't Have to be This Way 10 Zack de la Rocha & DJ shadow - march of death 11 Tin Pot Operation - Life of Luxury (JG Remix) 12 The Thermals - God and Country 13 Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band - God Bless our Dead Marines 14 Godspeed You Black Emperor! - Mother****er=Redeemer 15 Bill Hicks - The War |

Rage was always a unique band that really didn't care much of what you thought of them, just like another band on my list, Pantera!!!They would try to fight the war and let people know what's really going on out there, influencing them to know when a "leader" really is full of shiit!!!How great it is to hear rage tell these dikheads:"Fukk you, I won't do what you tell me!!!"Cheers to that, guys!!! |
