If I really had to pick one of these magazines, I would pick SPIN. I remember one issue I picked up which featured the ten most impotant punk bands ever and they included Public Enemy. That is cool, and most people wouldn't have seen that coming. But they are 100% right

covering bases
Rolling stone dosent suck in my opinion, they try to cover all the bases of music. Taking into consideration they are part of the big coorperate music machine. Now if a mag. like Under the Radar put out a list like this, it may see out of place.

i'd like to see maximum rock n rolls list. or revolvers.... check that... i can see revolvers list now. "cradle of filth, dimmu borgir, some other lame black metals bands and even some more lame metalcore bands. done and done.
