That vinyl collection of yours looks mighty big.
Must have cost you a small fortune over the years? I'd be thrilled if you posted in that thread and any mp3's you need uploading just give me a shout. Chances are, I've got it somewhere. Beautiful voice, beautiful lyrics...beautiful song Ruby Andrews; |

If anyone lives in Manchester and wants a decent northern soul night, go down to the Thirsty Scholar pub (under Oxford Road train station viaduct) on a Friday or Saturday night. They have a DJ on (proper old school 45 DJ - none of this digital trickery).
The place also benefits from being free to get in (as it's a pub) and drinks prices are normal (as it's a pub) and no, I'm not on commission. It's just one of my favourite nights out and it's open late too (2am ish). Northern_Sold |

Its some halfbaked Brit version of funk/motown.
You wouldn't like it.

I've learned more than you could ever possibly fathom!
I know why birds sing, and babies cry, and why boo boo has emotional distress and most importantly, I know how 5 miller high life's taste when you get ripped up listening to bad pop music...sir.
