i very much doubt it.... theres the frank wilson version and the chris clark version... but they're both rare as f**k on vinyl....

the frank wilson version was ordered to be destroyed by berry gordy after he found the singer had recorded it on the sly.... the 2 (3 if u count tim's unplayable copy) are all that remain of the original run.... if you believe berry has one anyway...

randomly enough though, if he does have a copy, it would have been stored in the same crypt as MJ was before he was buried.... i think that can only be a good thing lol

if there is an inst of do i love you it will be on some motown "connisseurs" ish cd, some collectors box set, but as far as im aware there are none!

[QUOTE=right-track;728794]I just checked this band out on youtube doing a cover of Chuck Wood's 'Seven Days Too Long'
Nice band, but the girl needs more soul in her voice.

i dunno... its not the best cover, but ppl go for stuff like moonlight music and you and this vocal definitely beats that for me... i hate them one note singers lol

The black guy, Mike Shaft???

Where and when was this taken barbarella?
Who are the ones you know?
Can't wait till the Blackpool weekender to show Richard and Kev what they are suppose to look like, I think Kev's wife may even put it on the wall !!
They used to look bad but never that bad!! Russ winstanley in those days used to look like guy fals and Dave Evison was short and very slim with a mexican style tash. in this day and age Richard Searling has weathered the best! lol

Well we got one right with Mike Shaft. Who the hell are the others?
Can you name them?

I've got a feeling all of them are from local radio stations and not NS DJ's.
I'm not even sure why barbarella posted that pic in here...

Welcome here antonl.

Hi guys, first time poster. Northern Soul fan and record collector. And every now and again a DJ.

Just to let you know, UK Tamla Motown put out a copy of Frank Wilson's 'Do I love you' with the Chris Clarke version on the flip in 2006 on 45. Ebay or some such other auction site may still have copies available.

Phil.

Right track - you wouldn't possibly be the Ginger haired DJ whose book I am currently reading who is spinning in Keighley on new year's eve would you?

not wishing to give the game away but there are too many coincidences.
