Is this for real? It reads more 'social media' than music. Its good research for record companies , artists and radio stations what other people are listening to,

I don't know who's to blame - last.fm or Spotify - but my accounts get disconnected at least once a week and I have to re-enter my last.fm password in Spotify to reconnect. Usually it's from my phone and not so much desktop, but it's happened there too. This has been happening to me for a while and doesn't seem to be decreasing in frequency. And there's never indication that this has happened other than noticing missing scrobbles when I happen to check my last.fm profile.

Spotify, please just buy last.fm.
