I completely forgot my weekly scrobble update, but whatever. Here it is, a little late.
Unsane - 55 Death Grips - 29 Public Enemy - 20 Miles Davis - 19 Faith No More - 18 Bad Credit No Credit - 17 MF DOOM - 15 Igorrr - 14 Ram In The Bush - 14 Hidden Orchestra - 11 Shabazz Palaces - 9 Old Man Gloom - 8 Metz - 8 Torche - 8 Alexa Ray Joel - 6 Cory Asbury - 6 High On Fire - 5 And a bunch more after that in the single-scrobble territory. Not a lot of music this week, since I was visiting some friends for a few days and listened to almost no music while I was with them.

It is Shigeru Umebayashi, the man who composed the soundtrack to Jet Li's Fearless, and many other Chinese and Japanese movies. All of those plays are the Fearless soundtrack though. It's perfect for listening to at work or when I'm trying to drown out the noises in the house when I'm trying to read. Plus, it's just damn good.

Basically, yes. Mostly your basic symphonic movie score stuff. Alot of drums, which kind of fits with a fighting movie. Obviously there is alot of influence from traditional Asian music. I guess one thing I like about it is that there are 36 songs, ranging in length from 0:30 to 4:30, so the 'scenes' change alot. I dunno...it fits no matter what mood I'm in, and always ends up being my go-to for when instrumental music is needed.
