^I was surprised to find Utada Hikaru on your list there. I mean, I know I don't really know you, but it still doesn't seem very...you, for some reason.
Also, perhaps you could recommend a good album from Of Montreal? I liked the work they did on Janelle Monae's album The ArchAndroid, but just haven't got around to checking them out.

Yeah, Ultra Blue. Didn't much care for it, but willing to try more of her work.
As for Of Montreal, above all else, I'd recommend Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer. Possibly my favourite album, full stop. It's dark, honest, flamboyant, and clever, and contains some of the greatest pop melodies I've ever heard. |
